Indecision and procrastination are common terms in business, especially when things are getting tough and there are already piles of work to be done. At first, one may be too eager to work but after some time, when you are already having tons of work to do, the tendency is that you will either procrastinate and leave tasks irresponsibly or you may be thinking of all the things to be done which may possibly lead to indecision. As a business owner, this is just an obstacle for you to deal with, but one must know how to get through that obstacle in order to keep on being effective in giving the customers what they need so they will continue being satisfied.

According to a business and life coach, being organized helps a great deal in avoiding procrastination and indecision. Do one thing at a time. At the beginning of the day, once you get to your work desk, relax and take long breaths. There may still be so much to be done at the end of the day but try not to think about them first. You are giving yourself time to clear your mind by trying to relax.

Once you have gained composure, start out by sorting all the things that need to be done in order of importance. You may classify the importance of your tasks with their deadlines or how complicated they are. Having a secretary may ease your work but being hands-on to your tasks may also be rewarding in the end.

And when you have your list already of your priorities, try to focus yourself in one task at a time. Multi-tasking may be required at times but if you can do one thing at a time, you will see that it produces better results than juggling yourself from one task to another.

You can also try to do the easier task first so that your day won’t be that stressful at the first hour of work. This is a way to nip procrastination in the bud as the easy tasks are already done and there won’t be any left to wait until the next day.

From the perspective of a business and personal development mentor, yes there are plenty other ways to get rid of procrastination and uncertainty but it wouldn’t hurt if you try these methods too. You may not know it but it can surely work for you in one way or another.
