‘Stress’ is an over-used term. It is an important feature of our day to day conversations. However, what is its true implication?

Being at the effect of ongoing stress may lead to more difficult emotional or even physical conditions. ‘Nervous tension’ is the commonest name for stress. What is implied when we mention a stressful situation is something that brings too much pressure for use to cope with. Today, it is acknowledged to pose a real danger to health. Stress can kill and you must learn to control it before it controls you.

The nervous system is most subtle system that is easily disturbed in the modern world and aromatherapy acts on this nervous system. We have no control over the nervous system such as the beating of the heart. Aromatherapy massage works on pressure points on either side of the spine which relaxes the recipient automatically and functions like a series of little power stations to produce energy. You can become relaxed like this.

These oils provide duel action when massaged into the face and body. Initially they work when inhaled and they are subsequently absorbed when applied to the skin, thus entering the bloodstream. These may be great aid when it comes to alleviating stress. Essential oils are a great option since they soothe and restore balance. These are oils like bergamot, chamomile, lavender, marjoram, neroli, orange, petitgrain and vetivert. You can be utilized either in one oil essential preparation with veggie oil, or as a mix of a couple of essential oils with a veggie oil.

Taking several aromatherapy baths weekly can greatly aid in stress reduction. It is best to eat wholesome, unadulterated food whenever you can. Meditation has benefits for some people. You can benefit from just a quarter of an hour each day earmarked as your time to distress.
